Absolutely nothing gets a party started like a lovely bowl of punch. Whether you serve it increased or alcohol free, a joyful punch always puts a smile on the faces of your celebration visitors.
In this dish, we’ve taken one of our preferred Southern salads– ambrosia– and transformed it into a big-batch punch that’s best for the holidays. Merely set out a spread of your preferred appetizers with this sparkling punch, and your vacation event will be the talk of the town.
What Is Ambrosia?
In Greek folklore, ambrosia was known as the food of the gods. In the South, it falls into fruit salad territory, frequently including citrus, pineapple, coconut, and maraschino cherries. Curious to find out more about ambrosia? Check out its origins and development in the South.

What’s in Ambrosia Punch?
Like timeless ambrosia, this punch draws in the tastes of citrus, pineapple, cherries, and coconut. In lieu of whole fruit (expect for garnish), we utilize orange juice, coconut water, pineapple juice, and maraschino cherry juice.
Does Ambrosia Punch Contain Alcohol?
Due to the fact that many folks select not to drink and there’s always children aplenty at Southern celebrations, our Test Kitchen created this punch to taste scrumptious with no alcohol at all. If you ‘d like to surge the punch, add a bottle of sparkling rosé wine, or serve it on the side, and let guests help themselves.
